Hey, I'm Keri Glassman, here with some quick and simple tips to help you feel just a little
bit better. It’s no secret that people who exercise regularly have stronger immune systems
and generally live longer. Being fit makes you less prone to health-related issues. Exercise
is good for you. We all know that. But did you know that exercise really is the best
medicine? Research suggests that exercise can be more effective than antidepressants,
and in some cases, better than blood-pressure medication and even diabetes drugs. So being
fit will keep you healthier, and it’s one of the best remedies for when problems do
pop up. For those who want to exercise more but are waiting until you feel 100 percent,
consult your doctor and start exercising as soon as possible. You don't have to be training
for a marathon to be reaping big benefits from exercise. Be consistent, even if that
means just a few times a week, with what you can do in your life now. Just remember: Exercise
is a great preventive measure, but you don't necessarily need to feel at your best to start.
It just may be that the exercise itself will make you feel a little bit better.
