hey what's up Stefanie the English coach here from englishfulltime.com in this video I'm gonna
do tongue twisters and I think this should be really fun so you will get to see how good or
bad I am at doing these you can practice with me you can try them with me I think it'll be a ton of
fun I made a video last week where I talked about why I do not teach tongue twisters to my students
or recommend them for pronunciation practice and I explained why and so now I'm making this video
no this video is to just have some fun with them as I said I think they're great for having fun for
loosening up and just enjoying failing I guess get you if you want to get good at failing and be able
to take it like a champ do tongue twisters that is my best advice ever okay anyways so
if you're new to my channel welcome what an awkward video to get to know me on but I am
Stefanie and I make videos content and courses for intermediate and advanced language learners
okay so let's get started the first one is very easy for me because this is one I think this was
the first tongue twister I ever learned and I remember one of my older sisters teaching us and
we thought it was so funny I was probably four or five years old here we go fuzzy wuzzy was a bear
fuzzy wuzzy had no hair fuzzy wuzzy wasn't fuzzy was he so yeah that a round of applause round
of applause thank you thank you thank you very much like I said that one's easy for me because
I've been doing it all my life and there's nothing to me at least about the consonants
or the vowel sounds that makes it difficult it's just like repetition fuzzy wuzzy fuzzy wuzzy was
a was a bear fuzzy wuzzy was a bear fuzzy wuzzy had no hair fuzzy wuzzy wasn't fuzzy was he? so
you're asking that question at the end was he okay moving on this is one that I remember from
my acting classes way back in the day I did some acting classes I performed on stage I did some of
that but anyways this one is red leather yellow leather okay and I'm just gonna say it and try
to keep saying it and we'll see if I mess up red leather yellow leather red leather yellow leather

yellow leather okay I guess I could do that one okay I think the trick with the tongue twisters
is you really got to imagine what you're saying and focus and remember because if not your tongue
just sort of like jumps off a cliff and yeah so anyways that one I've been doing that one for a
while too not that hard some of these later on you'll see they're harder for me because I've
never seen them before this one is next unique New York New York unique so let's try that unique New
York you nork no I already messed up okay unique New York New York unique unique New York New York
unique unique New York yew nork you what is yew nork please somebody tell me in the comments what

a different language yeek oh my goodness I told you this would be fun I told you okay maybe I
should move on I'm personally having a lot of fun with that one but I will move on the next one is
the lips the teeth okay you have to visualize this the lips the teeth the tip of the tongue
the lips the teeth the tip of the tongue and then we go backwards the tip of the tongue the
teeth the lips so it's like going into your mouth the lips the teeth the tip of the tongue and then
the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips okay that helps me so much visualizing instead of
trying to memorize the words visualize what you're communicating and then it makes tongue twisters at
least a little bit easier so the lips the teeth the tip of the tongue the tip of the tongue the
teeth the lips the lips the teeth the tip of the tongue the tip of the tongue the lips the teeth
oops no that's I said that wrong the teeth the lips wait what okay the lips the teeth the tip
of the tongue the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips okay so I have to visualize like going
into the mouth and coming out of it okay the lips the teeth the tip of the tongue the tip
of the tongue the teeth the lips okay again the tip the what the lips the teeth the tip
of the tongue the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips the lips the teeth the tip of the tongue the
tip of the tongue the teeth the lips okay there I got it 10 out of 10. a plus okay oh this one's fun
this one's fun for like long words but it's not to me it doesn't like tie up my tongue at all I
you know knock on wood it didn't when I used to do it she stood on the balcony inexplicably

to be hard when it's hard to read and you haven't even started it you know it's going
to be hard so I wish to visualize what am I gonna what am I saying I have a wristwatch
I want to wash it and it's Irish okay I wish to watch my Irish Irish I hate this I wish to
wash my Irish wrist watch maybe I should slow down slow down and then get faster I wish to
what no I wish to watch no I wish to wash my Iris wrist watch oh I hate that last part I wish to
